Caramel Marshmallow Treats

Another from Grandma Ruth's box.  I remember these - she did use the big marshmallow and they were delicious.  These treats would be on the tray with all the different treats at Christmas time.

I tried them with the girls using small marshmallows - thinking they would be super cute tea-party fare...

Who can resist marshmallows?

After dipping singles we decided to make caterpillars

A Siamese-triplet marshmallow

We made about this many and then August got burned with hot caramel...was a couple more dips and little sis was burned too...

But, they did taste like I remembered.

I DEFINITELY would use the big marshmallows next time!  And, DO NOT put them on waxed paper to harden.  They stuck to it and we lost several treats to the paper.  BOO!
